If any of you have experienced a concert where the audience is singing along the chorus of a song, then you definitely remember the energy.
I am sure that the audience at the following video had an equally unforgettable experience.
Here is Jacob Collier live at the O2 Arena in London performing ” Fix You” by Coldplay; joining him is Chris Martin, the vocalist & co- founder of Coldplay… which technically makes it not a remake… but it is…trust me, you’ll see why.
By the way, Hans Zimmer, the multi-award winner film composer, said the following for Jacob after their collaboration on a movie score: “There’s musicianship and then there’s genius, and then way, way, way above all that, out in the stratosphere, is Jacob Collier.”
Until next time, be kind to yourselves & take it easy.

I can imagine the energy in that arena, Nick, and know full well it transcends anything imagination could approximate. It’s an experience, both physical and spiritual.

Aye, Denise… but even through our screens, given our attention & intention, we got a glimpse of that experience… and that’s something, right?

It is. Viewing, listening on/with our screens, is sufficient to bring tears to one’s eyes.

To hold a thousand voices like a wave—held at that point just before it breaks must be something wild and nameless; the audience being both its voice and its listener, and Jacob controlling when to let the wave break.
An excellent way to start the day.

He makes it look effortless but it is anything but.
He is currently on a world tour
We should watch him live if any of us gets a chance.

Yes, it’s fascinating the energy a concert can ignite in an audience, and not just in pop and rock. Sometimes you feel like you can touch that energy.

Indeed, Friedrich.
Energy that both soul and body react to.
It is in these almost ecstatic moments, I believe, that we are getting a glimpse of our true selves and our high potential… hence the tears that cannot not be freed.

I have evidently been living under a rock, as I had never even heard of Jacob Collier. This made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Brilliant.
