He stopped in the middle of the night crossroads, voice cautioning Be careful what you wish for… Make it Rain, he answered.
As you wish, said the voice from the shadows…and Hard Came The Rain.
… and continued Since you are already wet, why don’t I give you a storm too… consider it a bonus… let’s see if you will Ride The Storm, last words from the dark mixed with a primordial laughter.
Everyone was running for cover but he just stood… looked back at the shadows, raised a flag of middle-finger defiance and just stood welcoming the Black Thunder.
Until next time, be kind to yourselves & take it easy

Very nice! Yes, sometimes a Black Thunder is necessary. After a storm, calm can return……

What a perfect musical progression. I love the HU. Are you familiar with Otyken? https://youtu.be/tNanp6lKm2E?si=s8H1Hwu24KvvSwC6

An excellent find; thank you, Jodi.
I missed them, even having listened last year to over 6,000 artists.
HU are a powerhouse.

Rory Graham: local boy. Love his *weathered* voice; it’s like listening to an abyss singing to you. The Hu, you can almost hear the wind’s heartbeat. Perfect choices for your meteorology (which was on the news this morning).

Rory’s voice is incredible; it cuts straight through the mix.
HU are a perfect marriage between traditional Mongolian folk & hard rock.
Did we? Yeah, it rained cats & dogs… I think even saw the cat of the old woman with no cat!

All excellent songs – great choices for not just for rain. Are you okay with that Storm Byron in Greece? Saw it on the news at lunch-time today.

Thank you, Chris!
Yeah, all good. Lord…Byron was notoriously in love with Hellas… so, he embraced it pretty… tightly. Massive amounts of rainfall; my area had nothing significant of a problem but elsewhere there were major floods.

Pleased that you’re fine by there. And yes, I thought it was an interesting name for this storm, since I immediately thought about those wonderful poets and writers – Byron, two Shelley’s etc… almost like the Proprietors back in the day!

“Make it Rain” was a perfect opener, Nick. Classic deep blues feel for a cold and, as it turned out, snowy morning and day yesterday – call it “hard” rain, lol. I loved the emotional progression through each piece of music and applaud heartily you concluding with such a powerful song of defiance and triumph 😎
